Privacy in short

  • Your numbers stay with you. Everything you type into a tool is processed in your browser and never sent to us.
  • No sign-up. We don’t ask for your name, phone or email to use any tool.
  • Ads and analytics use cookies. Google AdSense, and Google Analytics when turned on, use cookies. You can control them.
  • Questions? Email contact@qorico.com.

Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Qorico Global (“Qorico”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use qorico.com (the “site”). If you have any question about it, email contact@qorico.com.

Numbers you enter in our tools

Our calculators, converters and generators run inside your web browser. The amounts, rates, names and other details you type into a tool are processed on your own device. They are not sent to us and we do not store them. They are cleared when you close or reload the page.

The Copy result and Download CSV buttons create the result on your device. Generators such as the rent receipt and GST invoice tools also run entirely in your browser, including the details you print.

Information we collect

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use this only to reply to you and to fix or improve the site.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you open and the time of your visit. These logs help keep the site secure and working.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies for the purposes described below. See Cookies and your choices.

Live exchange rates

The currency converter and the INR to USD converter fetch the latest reference exchange rates when the page opens, from Frankfurter (which publishes European Central Bank rates) or, as a backup, ExchangeRate-API. This request does not include any amount or other number you type. As with any web request, the service can see your IP address and basic browser details.

Analytics

When analytics is turned on, we use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages and tools are used, and how the site can be improved. Our tools may report that an action happened, such as a calculation, a reset, a copy or a download, together with the tool name. They never report the numbers or details you entered.

Google Analytics uses cookies and processes information under Google’s Privacy Policy. You can block it with your browser settings, our consent message where shown, or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Qorico shows ads served by Google AdSense. This is how we keep our tools free.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
  • Other ad vendors and networks may also serve ads on our site. You can see the list of vendors Google works with here, and opt out of their personalised ads through their own websites where they offer it, or at aboutads.info. Visitors in Europe can also use Your Online Choices.

To learn more, read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. If you opt out of personalised ads, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland see a consent message, provided through a Google-certified consent management platform, before advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time through the privacy or cookie settings link or button on the site where it is shown.

Everyone can block or delete cookies in their browser settings and opt out of personalised ads through Google Ads Settings. Blocking all cookies may stop some parts of the site from working, but our calculators will still work.

How we use information

  • To run, secure and fix the site.
  • To reply to your messages and requests.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve our tools and articles.
  • To show advertising that keeps the site free.
  • To meet legal obligations.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, our legal bases are your consent (for analytics and advertising cookies), our legitimate interests (for security, server logs and improving the site), and the steps needed to answer you when you contact us.

Sharing your information

We do not sell the personal information we hold, such as your emails to us. We share information only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the site, such as our hosting provider.
  • Google and other advertising and analytics partners, through the cookies described above.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

Some of these providers, including Google, may process information in countries outside your own, including the United States, under their own safeguards.

How long we keep information

We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with your message and any follow-up. Server logs and analytics data are kept for limited periods set by our hosting provider and our analytics settings, and then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email contact@qorico.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.

  • EEA and UK: you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
  • India: under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct or erase personal data you have shared with us, and raise a grievance with us at contact@qorico.com.
  • California and other US states with privacy laws: you can ask what personal information we hold, ask us to delete or correct it, and ask us not to “sell” or “share” it. Advertising cookies may count as “sharing” under these laws; you can opt out of personalised ads through Google Ads Settings or by emailing us. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

Qorico is a general audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please use the site with a parent’s or guardian’s permission. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the site and the information we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS). No website can be completely secure, so please do not email us sensitive details such as bank or card numbers, passwords or identity numbers.

Our pages link to official sources and other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our site or the law changes. We will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
