Returns on market-linked products are not guaranteed, and rates set by the government or your bank can change. What is a Business Loan EMI Calculator?

A business loan funds working capital, inventory, equipment or expansion. Many MSME loans are unsecured and short, typically 1–5 years, with rates that depend on your business vintage, turnover, credit score and the lender.

Processing fees are usually deducted from the amount disbursed, so you pay EMIs on the full loan but receive less money. That makes the true cost higher than the quoted rate. This business loan EMI calculator shows both the EMI and the APR, the effective annual rate after fees.

How does the Business Loan EMI Calculator work?

The EMI uses the standard reducing-balance formula on the full loan amount. The calculator subtracts the processing fee (and GST on it, if charged) to find the money you actually receive.

It then finds the interest rate at which your EMIs equal that smaller amount, which is the APR.

EMI = P × r × (1 + r)n ÷ [(1 + r)n − 1]APR is the rate i at which EMI × [1 − (1 + i)−n] ÷ i = Loan − Fees, multiplied by 12.
